TKA has purchased the house at 1112 S. Water St. which we intend to convert to classroom space, particularly for our Art and Music program. This will free up space in our building which we then can use for more classroom and/or office space and will then allow us to eliminate one of our trailers or modulars.
We purchased the house in a partially finished condition so we will engage contractors, students, and volunteers over the next few months to help us complete the project and move in before the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
Also, finishing the work will require an additional $15k to $20k so we are opening our hands and asking for our friends and stakeholders to support this effort. All gifts are tax deductible and can be made out and sent to:
