Core 40(plus):

Is an Indiana State Accredited diploma which is a solid 40 credit diploma with an additional 8 credits.


Honors Diploma:

Within the 48 credits required to graduate from The King’s Academy and to meet the Academic Honors Diploma Requirement for the State of Indiana, a student must take 8 total credits in Math (8 semesters, Algebra 1 or higher).

A student must take 6 credits in one Foreign Language (6 semesters) or 4 credits in one and 4 credits in a second language.

A student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must also complete one of the following:

  • Earn 4 credits in 2 or more AP courses and take corresponding AP exams

  • Earn 6 verifiable transcripted college credits in dual credit courses from the approved dual credit list.

  • Earn 3 verifiable transcripted college credits from the approved dual credit list, and 2 credits in AP courses and corresponding exams.

  • Earn a combined score of 1750 or higher on the SAT critical reading, math, and writing sections, with a minimum score of 530 on any one section.

  • Earn an ACT composite score of 26 or higher and complete written section
