The King's Academy Servant Safari

Serving others is a key part of the Christian life. We learn to set aside our own selfish motivations in life when we fulfill our calling to serve others. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4. “Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.” Mark 9:35. Serving is a key part of TKA experience and is incorporated in the school culture in many ways. Servant Safari is one aspect of that.

Last spring (2011) our high school students served locally and in Cost Rica. Our junior high school served at Gull Lake Ministries and locally.
